Through our Agronomic service and in collaboration with Producer Associations, only the most suitable varieties to both agricultural and industrial requirements are selected.
This activity covers the entire cycle, from planting to harvesting.
The treatments are regulated by integrated pest management production specifications approved by the Lazio Region.
The unique geographical location, the excellent conditions and the proximity to the sea allow us to have a raw material with superior organoleptic characteristics.
Thanks to careful monitoring and subsequent scheduling, the raw material reaches the plant at the right degree of ripeness and in the daily quantity established only after having passed all the required controls and analyses.
The scheduled incoming loads undergo suitability controls. Once these are successfully passed, the tomato is unloaded and goes through
different stages of washing and water changes, using conduits, blowers and lift roller machines. This process entails up to five water changes and ends with optical sorters and manual sorting which enhance the quality of the fresh tomato.
The fresh tomato is sent to the refining lines to then run through the evaporators which increase the concentration of the product, next sterilisers and packaging in various formats.
Each phase of the process is the result of decades of experience and innovation, aimed at guaranteeing maximum efficiency, safety, reliability and quality.
Every single phase is constantly and meticulously monitored. Hourly sampling is carried out for each production line: one part of the samples is sent to a laboratory, which then carries out careful and timely specification testing for each line, another part of the samples is stored as a counter sample for possible subsequent analysis.
